The parallels in life, as seen through a morning commute:
Aimless dawdle
Late start
Speeding down the road
Time the lights
Focus
Turning point ahead
Swerve and weave
Floor it
Barely make it through
Slam the brakes
Almost crash
Panic at the thought
Slow down
Almost there
Awareness then sets in
The journey was the scenic part
And I lost it in the rush
