So many times broken,
it didn’t matter anymore
Feeling only a sadness,
but not for herself.
Remembering the temper he possessed,
she stares at the hole, now patched,
he once put in the wall.
In a way his life was like that wall —
full of holes,
inflicted only by himself.
Feeling only a sadness,
she walks away.
So many times broken,
it didn’t matter anymore.
