I am an introvert.
What that means is
I am not one to publicly
turn myself inside out.
What’s in my past,
my thoughts,
my heart
is much like a private reserve
to be opened and shared with
those I can trust
to discern the intricate blend
of the sometimes intense,
yet delicately sweet and
earthy bouquet.
So, to those who will gather
for the final pour:
May the finish be one
to savor through the years.
