Going through some of my long-forgotten writings, I came upon one piece that made me snicker. Oh, to again be so naive about the process of growing older, not to mention the cause and effect of indigestion!
Less than three weeks. Today, 29 is baring its teeth at me. Soon the sharp tongue of 30 will be lashing out. Shortly thereafter I’ll be swallowed up by old age.
When that time comes, here’s hoping I still have enough fight left in me to at least cause a severe case of heartburn!
